Reed boat rides
The boats are made by hand from bundles of totora, just like the islands. We paddle through the channels and out to neighbouring islands, ideally early, while the lake is calm.
Experiences
There is no fixed programme. We suggest what we do on the lake ourselves, and you set the pace.

Life in the Uros community
We visit other islands in the community to see how they are built, how people cook and fish, and what the craftspeople make with reed and textiles.

Home cooking with local produce. If you are curious, join us in the kitchen and see how it is done.

Sunset on the jetty
The pavilion by the water is the best spot to watch the sun go down. Bring a jacket: once the light goes, it gets cold fast.

High-altitude skies
Far from town and at 3,810 metres, the night sky is remarkably clear. From the Panoramic Dome you can see it without leaving your room.

Rest
No loud music, no nightlife. This is a place to read, talk and listen to the water.
